D.O.G.E. denies reports of early shutdown
The U.S. Department of Government Efficiency (D.O.G.E.) called the Reuters report about its dissolution “fake news.”
According to the agency, President Trump mandated it to modernize the federal government, and last week it canceled 78 ineffective contracts, saving $335 million.
A regular Friday update is promised “in a few days.”
