The crypto whale who predicted the market crash in October is betting on Ethereum's rise

The crypto whale who predicted the crash on October 10, and made a profit of 200 million dollars from the drop in the crypto market due to tariffs between the United States and China last month, is betting on the price of Ethereum this time.

This trader is known as "HyperUnit," and gained widespread fame after successfully predicting the market crash on October 10. He is considered one of the largest whales in cryptocurrencies, owning a portfolio valued at around 10 billion dollars.

"HyperUnit" has returned to the spotlight again with a strong bet on Ethereum; according to the crypto analytics platform Arkham, he recently transferred 10 million dollars to the decentralized derivatives exchange Hyperliquid to enter long positions on Ethereum.

The whale currently holds 44.5 million dollars worth of Ethereum, and the value of his holdings has increased by more than 300 thousand dollars in less than an hour.

It is worth noting that this trader has been in the market for at least seven years, having purchased 850 million dollars worth of Bitcoin during the bear market in 2018, and held it until its value rose to 10 billion dollars.

His current bet on Ethereum raises widespread expectations about the possibility of the second largest cryptocurrency in the market rising.
