#linea $LINEA is the Type-2 zkEVM Ethereum scaling network launched by ConsenSys, focusing on Ethereum equivalence and economic alignment: on-chain Gas is paid only with ETH, and the L2 net revenue is recycled by burning 20% ETH and repurchasing and destroying LINEA at an 80% rate; LINEA tokens do not pay Gas, have no on-chain governance rights, are not allocated to employees/investors, with 85% used for the ecosystem and 15% going to the ConsenSys treasury (locked for 5 years).
