The first mistake people make with smart-money wallets is thinking visibility means early access.
Sometimes it does. Most times, it only means the move became visible after the real decision was already made. A whale alert can show where capital moved, but it cannot always show when the edge was built.
That is why I treat wallet tracking as context, not a trade plan.
The real question is not “which whale moved?”
It is:
Am I seeing the setup early, or am I just following footprints after the hunt is over?
