Michael Saylor, the president of MicroStrategy, says that the price of #Bitcoin should reach around 150,000 by the end of the year. His comments were on CNBC during the Money 20/20 conference in Las Vegas.
At that time, he predicted that Bitcoin would reach 1 million within 4 to 8 years, and in the very long term, it would reach 20 million.
My followers know what I'm going to say.. It's better if I stay silent. Let's continue reading the post.
Why does Michael expect this rise?
He says that major banks like JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, and Citigroup will enter #Bitcoin more broadly and expose it to a larger number of people, which according to him, expands the market tenfold.
He also mentioned that the rise in the use of artificial intelligence agents within financial institutions requires higher speed than the current banking system, which drives them to adopt blockchain.
According to him:
- Bitcoin becomes a store of value
- Stablecoins become a medium of exchange
Impact of US politics:
Michael says that the last 12 months have been the best for the field due to the following governmental changes:
- Establishing a strategic reserve for Bitcoin
- Specific legislation for stablecoins
- Appointing individuals supportive of cryptocurrencies in regulatory bodies
Is Michael's opinion in line with the market?
Michael's opinion is close to the expectations of other analysts like Matt Hougan, who also expects a new peak before the end of this year 2025.
If you are interested in investment:
- Government and regulatory support is considered a strong positive factor
- This optimism is based on clear institutional expansion
- MicroStrategy's ongoing purchase of Bitcoin is considered direct support for the market
- The investor only cares about one thing, which is (accumulating Bitcoin). Do what you see fit if your mindset is that of an investor and not a trader
If you are interested in trading:
- Any news about banks or the government moves the price
- The market is volatile due to politics and tariffs
- Volatility works for you as a trader, but only if you know how to act and are not just a beginner or a hobbyist
