What is Bitcoin actually worth?
Not the price. Not what it's trading at today. I mean its real value.
Because here's the thing — right now BTC is sitting around $69K-$70K. But just a few months ago it was touching $124K. Same coin. Same 21 million supply. Completely different price.
So which one was "right"?
I've been thinking about this a lot lately and here's where I land 👇
Bitcoin's value isn't just a number on a chart. It comes from a few things that are genuinely rare in this world:
No one can print more of it. Ever. 21 million. That's it. Every central bank in the world is still printing money like it's going out of fashion. Bitcoin simply cannot do that. That alone is extraordinary.
It doesn't need anyone's permission. No bank. No government. No middleman. You hold it, you own it. That kind of financial freedom is something billions of people on this planet have never had access to before.
The big money is moving in. JP Morgan, Bernstein, Citigroup — they're not calling $150K-$170K BTC by end of 2026 because they're fans of crypto Twitter. They're calling it because their models say the value is there.
Is it volatile? Absolutely. Does it have bad weeks? Obviously — we're living through one right now. 😅
But zoom out. Every single time people said "it's over for Bitcoin" — it wasn't.
