I’ll be honest, one of the biggest frustrations in crypto is realizing that the tools we use every day often know more about our trades than we do.
Every click, every wallet interaction, every strategy leaves a trail somewhere.
That’s why Genius Terminal caught my attention.
The idea isn't about making trading faster or adding another AI layer on top of existing dashboards. It's about something the industry rarely talks about: privacy. A private and final on-chain terminal changes the conversation from who can execute trades to who actually controls their information while doing it.
Markets have matured a lot since the early DeFi days. Back then, having access to data was the edge. Today, the edge is often how quickly you can process information and act on it without exposing your intentions.
If AI becomes a core part of crypto workflows, then privacy becomes even more important. The value won't come from AI alone. It will come from who owns the decision-making process and who controls the data feeding it.
Of course, the challenge is trust. Private infrastructure only matters if it proves itself over time. Security, reliability, and real adoption matter far more than narratives.
Still, it feels like an interesting shift. Crypto spent years building transparent systems. Maybe the next phase is building tools that protect users while interacting with those systems.
That’s a narrative worth watching.
