#genius $GENIUS To CEX or to DEX the story old almost as crypto😅
CEX convenence or self-custody.
Smoth execution or full control.
Most people never wanted one or the other. They wanted both.
That's why the direction @GeniusOfficial is taking feels interesting to me.
A good example is PropAMM.
Most AMMs are designed around atracting liquidity.
PropAMM appaers to be focused on something different: improving execution itself with adaptive pricing, better capital efficiency, tighter spreads & potentially better fills.
That's an importent distinction
Because traders rarely think about the infrastructure undermeath.
They notice whether trades execute well.
They notice whether they get a good fill.
They notice whather the experience feels seamless.
And that seems to be the broader objective.
Not asking users to adapt to DeFi's limiations, but making on-chain trading feel closer to what traders already expect.
Less friction+ Less complexity = more focus on the trade itself.
Of course, execution is only part of the equation.
Privacy matters too.
That's where Ghost Orders become interesting.
One of the biggest trade-offs of public blockchains is that every move can be observed.
If traders can reduce wallet identity exposure during execution while maintaining self-custody, it could fundametally change how many participanns approach on-chain markets.
Especially larger traders who care about information leakage.
But building a smoother trading experience isn't enough on its own.
The real test comes when markets become volatile.
That's when infrastructure gets stress-tested.
Not during calm conditions, but when volume surges, liquidity shifts, and traders need systems to perform exactly as intended.
That's where execution techonlogy proves its value.
Or exposes its weaknesses.
And I think thats the bigger bet behind what Genius is building.
Not that centralized finance sudenly disappears.
But that more trading activity gradualIy moves on-chain as the experience becomes faster, cleaner, and efficient enough that users no longer feel theyre making a compromise.
