President Karol Navrotsky vetoed the crypto market regulation project, saying that it gives the authorities the opportunity to block websites about digital assets non-transparently and threatens civil liberties.
Navrotsky also pointed to the inflated supervisory fees and excessive regulatory burden, which can displace startups from the country. Now the fate of the bill will be decided by the parliament.
