The 21-year-old, with 14 siblings and a famous last name, decided to forge her own path: Vivian Jenna Wilson - daughter of Elon Musk - revealed that she does not live like a millionaire heiress, even though her father is "the richest man in the world."
Vivian shared that she has not received support from her father since 2022—the year she legally changed her name and gender and decided to cut ties to forge her own identity.
She lives in Los Angeles with three roommates to reduce expenses and honestly admits: "People assume I have a lot of money. I don't have hundreds of thousands of dollars."
Despite everything, she says she feels relatively fortunate to have a roof, food, friends, and some disposable income - although she does not aspire to her father's wealth.
Vivian made it clear that her goal is not to live under the famous last name, but to define herself. She refuses to be seen as "the daughter of," rejected the fortune that many take for granted, and asserted that she does not have that inheritance.
Although her father is globally known for his wealth and power, she prefers to build her life with her own hands - conscious modesty in a reality of inherited privileges.
