Harvard University's Bitcoin investment is down 14%.

As of September 30, Harvard holds 6,813,612 shares of IBIT (BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF) - nearly three times the 1,906,000 shares from June.

Although the average purchase price is not publicly disclosed, WSJ estimates that with the price $BTC C having decreased by -20% this quarter, if Harvard retains all its IBIT shares, the investment is down ~14% (~$40M).

On paper, this loss is negligible for Harvard as the university manages the largest endowment fund in the U.S. worth $57B, and the BTC position accounts for less than 1% of total assets.
