Data from "CryptoQuant" has revealed a notable shift in Ethereum holders' behavior, as balances on centralized exchanges (CEX) have dropped to 14.5 million ETH, marking an all-time low.
Mass Exodus: Over the past year (from June 2025 to June 2026), more than 6.5 million ETH have exited from exchanges.
Accelerating Pace: In just the early days of June alone, withdrawals exceeding 475,000 ETH have been recorded from major platforms like Binance, Bitfinex, and OKX.
Reasons: This drop is attributed to investors moving towards storing their coins in private wallets, participating in "staking," or transferring assets to institutional wallets rather than leaving them ready for sale, which strengthens the long-term holding outlook despite market pressures.
