People keep treating “multiple audits” like a finished security argument. I don’t. I’ve watched enough DeFi failures to know that yesterday’s audit often protects yesterday’s code, not tomorrow’s complexity.
Bedrock showing repeated reviews across brBTC, uniBTC, and uniETH is directionally responsible, especially with firms like Blocksec and PeckShield involved. But periodic re-audits matter more than the badge itself.
What interests me is the operational gap between audit completion and live protocol evolution. Staking infrastructure changes, integrations expand, incentives shift, and new dependencies quietly introduce fresh attack surfaces.
Security in DeFi is not static; it decays if assumptions are left unchallenged. The real test is whether audit findings, upgrade paths, and post-deployment monitoring remain publicly verifiable over time.
