What changes have occurred?
Three plans instead of four, each with a clear goal:
Free - Check out what you can create with Caffeine
Host - Your application, live online
Studio - Designed for developers who are constantly building
Why do we need three plans?
The original four-tier plan left people guessing which one they were choosing, while the new plans clearly state the purpose of each option, making the choice straightforward.
What’s the price?

Save 20% every year.
What’s the difference between Host and Studio?
Both allow you to build using chat features, mix from the app marketplace, create projects from scratch, publish your app on your own domain, and send emails to your users.
Studio increase:
Publish to the app market - share your app with the wider Caffeine community.
More points - 100 points monthly, while Host only offers 20 points monthly.
Purchase a domain through Caffeine - Host only supports BYOD, while Studio allows you to buy domains.
Collaborative projects (coming soon).
If you've developed your app and just want it to run, Host is sufficient, but if you want to keep releasing new apps, then Studio is necessary.
What about my plan?
I'm currently on the entry-level version - what will happen next?
After the switch, you'll migrate to Host, which has a lower price but the same feature level.
I'm using Plus - what will happen?
You've upgraded to the Studio version, which costs $25 a month, cheaper than the Plus version; the Studio version includes all features of the Plus version and offers unlimited app market apps.
Studio users get 100 points monthly, while Plus users get 110 points monthly.
Additionally, annual subscription users will receive a $10 points voucher monthly for the remaining subscription period to offset the difference; the voucher will be effective on your subscription renewal date.
Monthly subscription users will immediately upgrade to the Studio version, but existing subscription points will not change before renewal.
I'm using the Pro version - what will happen?
You've upgraded to the Studio version; the Studio version offers 100 points monthly, while the Pro version offers 400 points monthly.
Pro annual subscription users will receive a $300 voucher monthly for the remaining subscription period to offset the difference; the voucher will be effective on your subscription renewal date.
Pro monthly subscription users will immediately upgrade to the Studio version, but existing subscription points will not change before renewal.
I'm on an annual payment plan - will I lose anything?
No, your subscription will continue as agreed.
Plus annual fee: you can enjoy lower Studio pricing every year and continue using all features for the remaining contract period.
Pro annual fee: you'll receive a $300 points voucher for each of the remaining months to offset the difference.
What happens to my unused points?
If you're subscribed, the plan points will carry over.
If you're on the free plan, after switching, your existing points will enter a 30-day validity period, and you won't receive new 10-point welcome points; the validity period starts from your existing points balance. You can use these points first or subscribe to continue accumulating points; Host fees are $5.
Points
How long are points valid for?

Why are daily free points no longer offered?
Daily points encourage users to create content on the free platform and then leave; the new points mechanism rewards subscription users. If you want to keep creating content, the Host service costs $5 a month.
What free benefits do new users get upon registration?
Newly registered free users will receive 10 points, valid for 30 days, expiring after that; subscribing to Host or Studio plans grants subscription points, and you can purchase top-ups.
Features
Can I publish my app on the free plan?
No, to have your app with its own independent URL, you need Host; to publish to the app market, you need Studio.
What if my app is already online and I'm a free user?
For existing free users with online apps, your app will remain online, but to iterate on your app, users need to subscribe to Host or Studio services.
Can I start a project from scratch on the Free platform?
No, the free version is just a trial for Caffeine - you can build content by remixing existing projects in the app market; Host and Studio versions support building from scratch.
Does the free version have project limits?
Yes, you can create up to 3 projects, with a maximum of 3 drafts per project; there are no limits on the number of projects in Host and Studio.
Custom domain - what's the difference between Host and Studio?
Host - comes with a domain, we provide DNS records, and you configure it yourself.
Studio - You can purchase a domain through Caffeine; we'll configure it for you, or you can bring your own domain; both options are available.
What about my list of apps published in the app market?
If you're using the Studio version, they will remain published.
If you're on the Host version, after switching, your app market listings will be unpublished; your projects won't be deleted but will temporarily leave the public market until you upgrade to the Studio version.
Email sending, app insights?
Included in Host and Studio; the free version does not include this.
What about support?
Free - Knowledge base and community Discord.
Host and Studio - Knowledge base, Discord, and email support.
Switching between plans.
What happens if I upgrade?
You'll immediately receive the features and points of the new plan.
What happens if I downgrade?
The cancellation process will clearly display what content you will lose before you confirm - including points, amounts, and app market listing counts; after confirmation, the limitations of the lower plan will take effect in the next billing cycle.
If you downgrade from Studio to Host, your app market listings will be taken down, but your projects will still be retained.
What if I cancel my order?
Your subscription is valid until the end of the paid period, after which:
All recharge amounts and points vouchers are canceled.
Real-time apps have not been launched yet.
App market listings are down.
Projects exceeding the free limit (3) will be blocked - upgrade to Host or Studio to access your apps.
The cancellation process will remind you of all this information before you confirm.
Things you need to know
When is this situation going to happen?
Tentative launch date: June 1, 2026, the new plan will officially launch, and existing subscriptions will automatically migrate.
Do I need to do anything?
If you're a subscriber, you don't need to migrate; your plan will automatically migrate.
If you're on the free plan, you have 30 days to use your existing points or choose to subscribe to keep your points. After 30 days, daily free points will stop being issued, and your balance will reset.
What if I just purchased the Plus annual plan last week?
In addition to the 100 points monthly with the Studio plan, you'll also automatically receive a $10 points voucher monthly until the contract term ends.
What if I just purchased the Pro annual plan last week?
In addition to the 100 points monthly with the Studio plan, you'll automatically receive a 300 points voucher monthly until the contract term ends.
Is there anything else I should be aware of?
Points vouchers and top-ups require a valid subscription to use; if you cancel your subscription, they will also be canceled.
We won't add any hidden fees or change how the product operates; we've simplified the pricing tiers based on customer usage and feedback.
