Powell's chair term ends May 2026. Hassett is 86% likely to replace him. This is the same Hassett who said he would be cutting rates right now if he were in charge.

And let's not forget, Trump called for NEGATIVE rates back in 2019. Look it up.

By mid 2026, Trump will control the board. He's going to get the rates he wants.
