I wasted almost 20 minutes looking for my earphones yesterday 😭
I checked my backpack…..my desk…..my jacket pocket…..I even looked in the kitchen for some reason 😂
When I finally found them, they were sitting exactly where I had left them the night before.
I just laughed at myself 😅
It made me realize something though.
Most of our day isn’t spent doing difficult things. It’s spent trying to remember small things we’ve already done.
That random moment stayed in my head while I was reading about OpenGradient.
One thing that really caught my attention is how much focus they’re putting on helping AI agents carry useful context forward instead of treating every interaction like it’s the very first one.
The more I thought about it, the more it made sense.
If I get frustrated because I forget where I left my earphones…..imagine asking an AI to help with bigger tasks while it keeps forgetting everything from the last conversation 😭
Good AI isn’t just about giving smart answers.
Sometimes it’s about remembering the right details so you don’t have to repeat yourself over and over again.
That’s probably the part of OpenGradient I’m most curious about.
As AI agents become part of everyday life, I think we’ll stop being impressed by how intelligent they sound…..and start caring much more about whether they actually remember what matters. 🤔
