8 Years of Old Chives' Self-Reflection: How to Stay Sane During the 'Garbage Time' in the Crypto World?

📉 It's that season again when 'no one is making money'.

Many friends in the group are anxious, but I remain calm. After all, since 2016, I've seen similar scripts four times.

🧵 A review of my 4 'crossing' experiences:

1️⃣ 2016 (Nurturing Period):

At that time, the industry was very rudimentary, and the big shots hadn't been gilded with MBAs yet; everyone was crammed into shared apartments dreaming. Although it was a cold winter, the chaotic projects and offline gatherings made people feel that 'the future is promising'. That pure excitement is hard to find now.

2️⃣ 2019 (Bubble Burst):

ICOs collapsed, and various gods and demons fled. The hottest track that year was 'starting exchanges', with more BD than project parties. It was also that year that everyone was forced to learn how to play contracts, all of us became gamblers because the spot market had no volatility.

3️⃣ 2023 (Faith Collapse):

The chain reaction of FTX and LUNA directly obliterated my entrepreneurial project. Investors ran out of money, and I also fell back into poverty. The lesson was extremely painful: in a bear market, don't mess around! The more you mess around, the faster you die; it's better to lie flat and preserve your capital.

4️⃣ Now (Liquidity Drought):

This is the fourth garbage time we are currently experiencing.

No one is picking up VC coins, TON/Line can't attract real users, and the whole network is in Meme PVP. Do you think others are making big money? In fact, most people can't even catch a 'hippo'.

💡 Survival Advice for Brothers:

If you missed those few golden dogs, don't force it.

The current market is a meat grinder, with no new chives, only old sickles cutting each other.

My current strategy: learn English, get fit.

✅ Stop, don't mess around, preserve your bullets.

When the winds rise in 2025, you need to ensure that you are still at the table and still have chips in hand.
