Taiko halts block production following $1.7M exploit

#Taiko reported a $1.7M exploit and urged users to move funds out of bridges running on the #Layer2 network as a precaution. BlockSec reported that the attackers may have exploited compromised verifier instances to generate invalid proofs accepted by Taiko’s verification contracts, before using a forged signal to initiate a fake bridge message and withdraw #Ethereum -based assets from the ERC20Vault.
