MicroStrategy announces the purchase of an additional ~1 billion USD Bitcoin. BTC drops to 85k.
The hypotheses raised are:
1️⃣ Price manipulation: Veteran trader Whale Panda believes they are not selling real Bitcoin, implying manipulation through derivatives.
2️⃣ Too large Market Cap: With a market capitalization of nearly 2,000 billion USD, Saylor's 1 billion USD purchase is like a drop in the ocean, not enough to push the price when selling pressure is too strong.
3️⃣ Pessimistic sentiment: Even the Fed cutting interest rates cannot save the price; the market is indifferent to good news.
Even Andrew Tate had to exclaim: I am very crazy about BTC but MicroStrategy buys 10k bits a day and the price doesn't budge. Can someone explain this?
According to you, is the market shaking off or are we about to welcome a new bottom?
