🇺🇸 I’ve been following the regulation of cryptocurrencies in the United States since the beginning of the year, and what happened today was surprising to me. 😅
Congress has approved a bipartisan-backed bill that includes restrictions on issuing a digital currency by the U.S. central bank (CBDC), and the voting results came with a large majority:
🗳️ House of Representatives: 358 to 32
🗳️ Senate: 85 to 5
The bill received broad support in the United States.
