Recently there’s been “alpha listing” for coins, and honestly there isn’t much wealth effect. It has turned into PvP—which is rare in the history of Alpha;
After $BTW O, some projects that got listed—$arx, $nes, $cap—have been acting really strangely. Basically it’s high open, then a dump: the snipers sell their coins, the project team sells, and market makers sell too. Are you guys still going to trade perps/contracts?
Especially $arx—basically every time there’s a good news catalyst, it gives them the chance to distribute/exit their position;
For future Alpha projects, I suggest you definitely limit the opening market cap. This is a bear market in crypto. If the market cap opens high, there’s no incentive to pump. Coins opening at 300 million or 500 million USD market cap—these “VC coins” with no product support—will definitely dump. Set their opening market cap limit to 100–200 million, and see whether it actually gets pumped.
