Sisters and brothers, have you been hearing about how great and convenient the L2 expansion plans are recently? Transactions are super fast, and fees are incredibly low! Doesn’t that sound appealing?🤑 But while I was surfing the Web3 world lately, I kept feeling something was off!⚡️
You see, does those so-called "efficiency improvements" really mean concentrating power in the hands of a few nodes? Just like playing Web3 games, we are supposed to be decentralized players, but suddenly we find that the "GM" privileges in the game are getting bigger, even deciding who can play and who can't. Isn’t that just a rebranded form of centralization?😱
Don't be naive! The big shots in the US stock market may talk about "market freedom" on the surface, but behind the scenes, aren’t they still playing tricks like selling at high positions and letting retail investors take the fall? If L2 cannot uphold the bottom line of decentralization, isn't that just opening a door for those "centralized giants" to make it easier to harvest us, the freedom-loving Web3 players?😡
So I say, this is not a technological advancement; this is clearly a digital battlefield of "us" versus "them"! What we pursue is a truly decentralized way of life, not being bound by efficiency as "digital slaves"!👊
