L2 expansion is a trend, but don't forget about the "centralization" mouse droppings! My ten-year blood and tears history in Web3 tells you…🩸

Web3 friends, I have crawled through the crypto market for ten years, experiencing several cycles of bull and bear. Recently, L2 expansion plans have started to dominate the headlines, with phrases like "Ethereum reborn from the ashes" and "performance soaring"! It does sound exciting, right? 🚀

But I have to share with you a "veteran's story": back in the day, I chased after many "high-performance" projects, and what was the result? In pursuit of that bit of speed, many projects ended up on the irreversible road of centralization, with data controlled by a few, and even the project teams ran away!😭

Although Ethereum might indeed "rise from the ashes" in 2025, and L2 is the trend, we must not forget our original intention! The core spirit of Web3 is "decentralization"! If L2 only moves centralization from L1 to L2, then what have we been struggling for all this time? 🙄

Those so-called "safest" L2s, can they really guarantee that they won't be controlled by a few nodes? I remember a few years ago, a certain L2 project experienced an outage due to a few nodes going down, causing the entire network to be paralyzed for several hours! Isn't this solid evidence of the risks of centralization? 🤦‍♀️

So, L2 is the future, but we must be wary of its "centralization trap"! Don't wait until your assets are devoured by "centralization" to regret it! What do you think? Does the centralization risk of L2 remind you of a certain "pit" from the past? Share your stories in the comments! 👇 #L2 expansion #Web3故事
