Sometimes, even if you follow all the steps, something goes wrong: the seller does not release the cryptos, the buyer does not send the money, or you receive a payment from a third-party account. Don't panic! That's what the Binance appeal system is for.
Here I explain how to do it right so that the "referee" from Binance gives you the reason. 👇
Before "calling the referee": Try to talk 💬
Most problems are resolved by chatting in the order chat. Sometimes the seller lost internet or the bank is slow.
Advice: Write politely: "Hello, I have already made the payment but have not yet received the release. Could you check?". If after a few minutes there is no response or the other person behaves suspiciously, it’s time to appeal.
What you MUST do to win an appeal ✅
For the support team to help you quickly, they need clear evidence. It’s not enough to just say "I paid".
Upload the real payment proof: A clear screenshot from your bank showing the reference number, amount, and beneficiary's name.
Screenshots of the chat: If the other person accepted something or asked you for something strange, take a photo.
Be clear and direct: Explain the problem in few words. Example: "I made the payment from my main account, attaching proof, but the seller does not release."
Keep calm: Insulting or losing your temper doesn't help the case get resolved faster. Kindness always earns points.
What you should NEVER do (Be careful here!) ⚠️
Making these mistakes can cause you to lose your money or your account:
NEVER cancel the order if you have already paid: If the seller tells you: "Cancel and I'll refund you", IT'S A TRAP!. If you cancel, the cryptos leave the escrow and Binance can no longer help you.
Avoid third-party payments: If the name on Binance does not match the name on the bank account, the seller has the right to appeal. Always follow the rule: Your account, your money.
Don't lie: Binance support reviews bank transactions and chats. Lying in an appeal can lead to the permanent blocking of your account.
When to close an appeal? 🚪
Only close the appeal when you have the money in your bank or the cryptos in your wallet. If the other person tells you: "I already paid you, cancel the appeal and you will see the money in 5 minutes", don't do it. First verify, then close.
⭐ Gold Tip: The appeal is a human process. Binance agents review thousands of cases. If your evidence is organized and your explanation is simple, they will resolve your case much faster.
