Two US community banks, Artisans' Bank and VeraBank, have alerted a combined total of 69,662 customers after a data breach at their third-party vendor, Marquis Software Solutions. The breach, which began as early as August 2025, potentially exposed customer names and Social Security numbers. Neither bank's own systems were affected, as the data breach was confined to Marquis's environment.
