If you hold the USDC.n stablecoin, please read this message carefully!
The Sei project has issued a warning for USDC.n stablecoin holders (also known as USDC via Noble) urging them to exchange it for the native $USDC before the scheduled network upgrade in March. USDC.n is an outdated version of USDC, originally issued by Circle in the Noble network and later migrated to Sei before the official native USDC was launched. Currently, approximately $1.4 million of USDC.n remains on the Sei network, and this amount is gradually decreasing.
As part of the SIP-3 upgrade, Sei is transitioning to an EVM-only blockchain, abandoning CosmWasm and native Cosmos assets. After this change, USDC.n may become inaccessible or lose its value. For smaller exchange volumes, DragonSwap or Symphony are recommended, while larger volumes should use the special Brr tool with Circle CCTP.
