A year ago I was broke. Due to a Facebook algorithm change, I went from $5,000 to literally $700. That was a major blow to my income; Facebook stopped showing in-stream ads and shifted to monetizing photos, Reels, and stories—I couldn't adapt.
I immediately got out of depression and remembered the hundreds of hours I spent on SEO.
My niche has always been automotive, but mediocre—compilations of race and crash videos, never anything concrete or journalistic.
By applying SEO and Google Trends, I was able to spot a trend in a keyword; that keyword was 'puretech stellantis'.
I started investigating the topic, and it was incredible!! 200,000 lawsuits that were being filed against the largest car group on the planet. Stellantis had defrauded millions with a crappy engine.
The next step, hands on deck, and let's invade YouTube with these videos. I monetized in 4 languages about stellantis and for the first time exceeded 13,000 dollars in monthly revenue, with days of 3000 usd.
I positioned myself on Google, you typed stellantis and I appeared. Of course, today this topic is DEAD, and there are 9999999 copies of my channel.
I positioned myself in Spain, my rpm increased a lot and my channel never went back to being mediocre.
Okay, here are my two ideas.
The first one is the World Cup Mexico USA 2026. Whoever makes a channel focused on this traffic Google will reward, it's unimaginable the amount of searches these topics will have. Talk about a specific niche, fixtures, rumors, predictions, line-ups, etc.
The second one is almost obvious. One of the historical global events, and it's the launch of GTA 6. Here too there are hundreds of ideas to exploit.
These two niches are a goldmine in the long term, remember that when the World Cup ends, the Copa America, Eurocup, etc. come.
Good luck hustler.
Here is the image of how my dead channel (9 usd daily) went to 10k monthly.
