Walrus WAL Is Fixing the Weakest Part of Web3
Most Web3 apps still depend on Web2 more than people admit. Wallets and transactions may be decentralized but storage usually is not. Files are often kept on cloud servers and that creates a risk. One outage or rule change can break the whole app. Walrus is built to solve this. WAL powers the Walrus protocol on Sui and focuses on decentralized storage for large files. It uses blob storage for heavy data and erasure coding to split files across the network so data stays safe even if some parts fail.
