Surely you have seen a coin that made it to the top gainers on Binance daily, even weekly, without understanding why? On social sites like Binance Square, X mentions it? From October to December 2025, we have ZEC, XMR; prior to that, we had ASTER, HYPE, these coins consistently made it to the top gainers on Binance daily and weekly and are frequently mentioned by the entire crypto community.

With ZEC, XMR growing strongly due to the narrative of 'Privacy', with ASTER, HYPE due to the narrative of PerpDEX.

The strong growth of these coins leads to a series of other coins in the same sector, such as:

- PerpDEX: ASTER, HYPE, ORDER, APE, etc.

- Privacy: ZEC, XMR, ZEN, DASH, XMR, DUSK, etc.

Check the daily top gainers; if you see a coin making it to the top gainers continuously for many days, note down what that coin is about, which sector it belongs to. If the top gainers have many coins in the same sector or share common characteristics, continue to check for other signs.

For example: Zcash has increased dozens of times, I noticed it consistently in the top gainers on Binance daily and weekly, leading to an explosive narrative of 'Privacy'.

However, it's also necessary to check carefully, because some coins like MYX, COAI, or the most recent RIVER are purely pump and dump, even though they have consistently been in the top gainers for many days on Binance.

2. Check related news

Next, check the news related to the coin that made it to the top gainers, you can check on X or search on Google or in groups, in general, the more information you find, the better.

For example, when the 'Privacy' trend exploded with Zcash leading, I tried to read as much information about Zcash as possible, and I learned that the demand for transaction security has increased due to legal pressures, which is why Privacy exploded.

3. Check through technical analysis

A strong narrative usually means that the coin has a very beautiful chart, high trading volume, and the price follows dynamic support lines like MA, EMA and continues to rise.

Not only ZCash or XMR but also coins belonging to the narrative like ZEN, DASH, etc., all have very beautiful charts.

4. Check Onchain

If there is a narrative, smart money, KOLs, and experienced investors will buy in beforehand, so you can check onchain; if coins in the same sector are continuously accumulated by smart money over many days, that is a sign that the narrative is happening strongly. Or onchain indicators like fees, volume, transactions, revenue, etc.

For example: When the Perpdex trend exploded, the fees and revenues of these projects were extremely high and maintained for a long time.

5. Some other signs

- Mentioned by top market KOLs: The trend of PerpDEX has been mentioned by CZ on his X when referring to the coin ASTER; Vitalik and the Ethereum Foundation have mentioned Railgun, etc.

- Appearing in reports by reputable organizations: Privacy, Perpdex has been mentioned many times in market reports by a16z.

- Investment funds are all pouring money into that sector
