January is approaching a state of semi-laying flat. Every day I collect vegetables, waiting for the results of several projects. There are those who have been shouting for TGE for a long time, like the Noble, which has its coins calculated but no TGE yet; MegaETH, which is about to TGE after a few months of effort; Superform, which has not shown any news after a long time; and Infinex, which has been followed for a year but has not yielded satisfactory results. In terms of income, it is slightly stronger than December, and there are still quite a few pending payments, not sure if they will be received, and will count in February when they are received.
Recently, the projects I am following are still the usual few PerpDEX and o1 (see the referenced tweet), and there really haven't been any other projects that seem worth heavily investing in lately. I remember I listed a circle of projects worth following at this time last year, but suddenly there are none this year.
Many things happened in January, making one feel that a black swan is not far away. - The gold and silver have seen explosive ups and downs in a matter of days, completing a year's market cycle. - BTC and ETH continue to follow the previous downward trend, with BTC possibly hitting the 7s soon. To avoid letting my emotions lead to inconsistent investments, I set up a dollar-cost averaging strategy on CEX. - The US stock market is also facing a decline recently, moving funds from the crypto circle and placing $20,000 in US stocks waiting to buy some discounted quality stocks.
A black swan is not scary; what is scary is that when the black swan comes, you have no bullets, and even before it arrives, you are already fully loaded and struggling. As a long-term investor, one must have firm beliefs. Don’t think that precious metals are done for just because gold and silver have plummeted, and don’t think that crypto is doomed just because BTC has entered a downward channel.
Those who often trade US stocks know that with AAPL/MSFT, what are you afraid of? What US stocks should you buy? Looking at it over a long time, everything is just a cycle.
