A trial has begun in Korea against Terraform Labs co-founder Daniel Shin and seven other company employees. Prosecutors accuse them of defrauding investors and manipulating the price of certain tokens, resulting in $354 million in “unfair profits.” The prosecution alleges that Shin sold approximately $118 million of LUNA before its collapse. He then founded the fintech firm Chai Corporation, where he used similar tactics to illegally make profits.
