Crypto skeptic Peter Schiff claimed that Bitcoin underperforms traditional assets, with a 5-year return of about 12% compared to 57% for NASDAQ, 60% for S&P 500, and over 160% for gold.
Michael Saylor disagreed, saying returns depend on the timeframe. Since 2020, BTC has been one of the most profitable assets, and longer horizons show a different picture.
Schiff accused Saylor of "cherry-picking" data, repeated his "shitcoin" label for BTC, and proposed a public debate.
