3 mistakes that cost me money in crypto

Started trading 3 months ago. Lost money on these 3:

1. Using 20x leverage with $10. Got liquidated in 2 hours.
2. Sending crypto to “airdrop” links on Telegram. Scam.
3. Not setting stop loss. Held a coin down 70%.

The P2P Panic

Sold 50 USDT on P2P to pay school fees.

The buyer said “I paid” but never sent MoMo.
I almost released USDT because I was desperate.

Opened dispute, showed chat logs, got my USDT back.
Lesson: Never release before money hits your phone.

If you use P2P in Uganda, always wait for the SMS.

Looked real. Had the Binance logo.
I connected my wallet and lost 50 USDT in 30 seconds.

Scammers copy everything now.
Real airdrops never ask you to “connect wallet” or “pay gas first”.

Stay safe. Check everything twice.

Why did BTC drop 4% today?

BTC dipped from $81k to $77k this week.

Fed meeting + profit taking.
When BTC drops 5%, alt coins often drop 10-15%.

This is normal in crypto. 2021 and 2024 had 3-4 drops like this before new highs.
