Wrapping and unwrapping FIO tokens is handled by the FIO Bridge, a fully decentralized bridge operated by FIO Chain Block Producers. The process is straightforward: when you wrap FIO tokens, they’re securely held by the Bridge Oracles on the FIO Chain while equivalent wFIO tokens are minted on Base. When you’re ready to unwrap, simply burn your wFIO tokens and the Bridge Oracles will release your FIO tokens back to your FIO Address.
