Coming from someone invested in this industry since Feb. 2017, what all boils down to when it comes to chosing the right coin is its tookenomics, specifficaly its inflation/deflation rate. That is a core metric more important for long to medium term beside its popularity/use case.

From experiance inflation below 5% is ok... however tookens that are deflationary are even better in nowdays where industry is full of competitions.

Injective $INJ has recently prooven to be$ one of THE MOST deflationary coin. So its a go to for me.
Then there is also a Near Protocol $NEAR that changed its inflation rate from 5% - 2.5% while introducing the main hype in current financial system .... Ai.
