First Incident:

It was narrated from Isma’il bin Abi Hakim that a man said: I saw Abdul Malik bin Marwan urinating four times in the direction of the Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH). I related this dream to Saeed bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him), who said: If you have narrated your dream truthfully, then four caliphs will be standing in the direction of the Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH) behind Abdul Malik.

Muhammad bin Umar said: Saeed bin Al-Musayyib was the most knowledgeable in the interpretation of dreams. He acquired this knowledge from Asma’ bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), and Asma’ acquired it from her father Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him).

Second Incident:

It was narrated from Shurayk bin Abi Nimrah that I said to Saeed bin Al-Musayyib (may Allah be pleased with him), I saw in a dream that my teeth had broken and fallen on my hand, so I buried them. Saeed bin Musayyib said: If you have narrated your dream correctly, then you have buried the people of your own family.

Third incident:

Muslim al-Khayyat narrated that a man said to Saeed bin Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, that he saw in a dream that he was urinating on his hand. He said: Fear Allah, for there is a mahram in your marriage. The man looked into it and found that he had a nursing relationship with his wife (i.e. the woman who had suckled him had also suckled his wife).

Fourth incident:

Another man came to him and said: O Abu Saeed! I saw in a dream that I was urinating at the root of a tree. He said: Consider who is in your marriage, it appears that there is a mahram in your marriage. He looked into it and found that it was a woman with whom he was not permitted to marry.

Fifth incident:

It was narrated from Ibn al-Musayyib that a man said: I saw in a dream that a dove came and sat on the minaret of the mosque. He said: Hajjaj will marry the daughter of Abdullah bin Ja'far bin Abi Talib.
