I used to think the whole “AI verification” thing was trying to bolt a scientific method onto autocomplete. Like—nice philosophy, wrong battlefield. People don’t adopt systems because they’re epistemically pure. They adopt them because they reduce labor, move decisions faster, and give someone cover when things go wrong.

Then I watched the same pattern repeat: an AI summary gets pasted into a client update, a risk memo, a support resolution. Nobody “believes” it, exactly. But it becomes the default record. And once it’s the record, the argument isn’t “is this true?”—it’s “can we rely on this without getting burned later?”

That’s the gap most solutions don’t close. Guardrails are internal and invisible. Human review turns into rubber-stamping under deadlines. Vendor assurances don’t transfer in a dispute. When you hit an audit, procurement review, or a contract fight, you need more than “the model scored well.” You need an artifact that looks like process: what was claimed, what was checked, by whom (or what), and what incentives existed not to cheat.

So @Mira - Trust Layer of AI , to me, reads less like a trust product and more like a settlement layer for AI output. The interesting part isn’t that it “reduces hallucinations.” It’s that it tries to make AI output behave like something you can attach to a ticket, an invoice, a compliance file—something that can survive adversarial questioning.

Who uses it? Teams where errors have a price and paperwork is already the tax: fintech, healthcare ops, enterprise support, gov vendors. It might work if it stays cheaper than the downside and integrates into workflows. It dies if verification becomes ceremonial, or if the “claims” don’t map to what humans actually litigate.
