There was a boy named Ravi. He was not very rich, and also not very good in school. His teacher always say, “Ravi, focus on study” but Ravi like games more than books.

One day his friend told him about a game called Pixels. Ravi did not understand much. He only heard, “you can farm and maybe earn something.” His eyes become big.

That night he open his old phone and try the game. At first it look simple. Just small land, some seeds, and little character walking here and there. Ravi think, “this is boring maybe.” But he still play.

Next day something strange happen.

When Ravi wake up, he feel like he was inside the game. Not real real, but like dream. He see green farms, trees moving with wind, and other people walking around. One old man in the game say, “You are new here right?”

Ravi say yes.

The old man give him some seeds and say, “Take care of your farm, it will take care of you.” Ravi did not understand that line fully, but he liked it.

Days passed. Ravi start farming everyday. He wake early, water plants, collect crops. Sometimes he fail, sometimes crops die, and he feel sad. But still he try again.

One day he met a girl in the game. Her name was Mina. She had a big farm. Ravi ask, “how you make this big?”

She laugh and say, “slowly slowly. nothing come fast here.”

Ravi remember that.

He start saving coins. Not spending on useless things. He even help other players, and they help him back. One day someone buy his crops. Ravi was very happy. It was small earning but he feel proud.

In real life also something change.

Ravi become more patient. When his mother ask help, he say yes. Before he always say no. His teacher also notice he was little calm now.

One evening in the game, Ravi stand on his farm and look around. It was bigger now. Trees, crops, small house. Not very big but it was his.

He smile and say softly, “maybe this game is not just game.”

Next day when he open his phone, the game still there. But that dream feeling was gone. Still, Ravi continue playing.

Because now he understand something.

Good things take time. Even in game, even in life.

And somewhere inside Pixels, that old man maybe still watching and smiling a little.
