Intesa Sanpaolo raised its crypto asset-related holdings to about $235 million in the first quarter of 2026, up from about $100 million at the end of 2025. The bank increased its positions in the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and BlackRock's IBIT. The bank also made its first Ethereum allocation through BlackRock's iShares Staked Ethereum Trust and added about $26 million in Grayscale XRP Trust ETF holdings.
