Born in the COTI Vibe Coding Challenge and now joining the ecosystem as a grant recipient, Whisper is a confidential prediction market that proves what’s possible when privacy-first infrastructure meets great product thinking.
We’re excited to announce that Whisper, a confidential prediction market built natively on COTI, has officially joined the COTI ecosystem as its latest grant recipient. Whisper is among the first projects to travel the full path from the COTI Vibe Coding Challenge to a real ecosystem launch.
Whisper combines a Polymarket-style yes/no betting mechanism with a TikTok-inspired swipeable feed, all with privacy-powered features using COTI’s Garbled Circuits. Bets are placed using pUSDC, and all positions remain fully encrypted on-chain.
What Is Whisper?
Whisper is a confidential prediction market that lets users bet “yes” or “no” on real-world events across crypto, sports, politics, and culture, without exposing their position size. The platform runs on both web and mobile, offering a familiar Polymarket-style trading flow wrapped in a social, swipeable interface inspired by TikTok.
Positions are fully encrypted on-chain using COTI’s Garbled Circuits. Users bet with pUSDC, and nobody sees what they’re betting on. It’s a prediction market where privacy and great UX coexist on-chain.
Whisper’s Journey From Vibe Coder to Ecosystem Builder
Whisper was born during the COTI Vibe Coding Challenge, a program that invited anyone to build a privacy-first app or game on COTI using AI tools and the network’s privacy stack. No traditional coding experience was required. Just AI tools, COTI’s privacy stack, and a great idea.
The challenge launched with one mission: invite anyone to go from zero to launch. Build a privacy-first app on COTI, mint a private token, connect it all together, and ship a complete Web3 project. What the community shipped exceeded every expectation, from a full community-built DeFi suite, to a confidential prediction market that scrolls like TikTok, to a privacy-first AI therapist that rewards mental wellness journeys.
Whisper earned 2nd place in the challenge and a prize of 25,000 COTI. The project demonstrated that privacy and exceptional user experience can coexist on-chain, with encrypted bets and an intuitive swipeable interface that showcased the full potential of COTI’s programmable privacy.
Following the challenge, Whisper was selected as a COTI ecosystem grant recipient, making the leap from Vibe Coding prototype to full ecosystem partner. This is exactly the path the Stay COTI movement was designed to create: empowering builders to go from idea to launch, with COTI’s privacy infrastructure and community behind them.
What’s Next for Whisper
Whisper will continue to be built by its founder, Eden, with plans to launch as a fully live in-production app on the COTI Network. Bringing private predictions markets and a dose of virality to life.
