Microsoft just caught a nasty new clipper in the wild:

CryptoBandits 🎭

It spreads through random USB drives. You plug it in → it quietly hijacks your clipboard.

Copy a wallet address to send BTC/ETH ? It swaps it mid-paste with the hacker’s address... But it doesn’t stop there.

This malware also:

1. Steals seed phrases + private keys, straight from your clipboard

2. Takes screenshots of your screen

3. Takes remote commands from attackers to control your PC

Microsoft’s advice:

Don’t trust random USBs...

And always double-check the first + last 6 characters of any wallet address before you hit send. Copy-paste is a hacker’s best friend.

Tag Post someone who still uses “USBs from events” 👀
