Patience Pays More Than Prediction
The Beginner's Goal
Predict where the market will go.
The Professional's Goal
Wait for the market to come to them.
Most traders lose money not because they can't analyze charts,
but because they cannot wait.
They:
* Enter too early.
* Chase candles.
* Trade out of boredom.
* Force setups that aren't there.
The market rewards patience far more often than prediction.
A mediocre setup taken with patience is usually better than a great setup chased emotionally.
Trading Truth
You don't get paid for:
* Being busy.
* Taking many trades.
* Watching charts all day.
You get paid for:
* Waiting.
* Executing your edge.
* Managing risk.
A Professional Question
Instead of asking:
> "How much money can I make today?"
Ask:
> "Can I wait for my setup today?"
Exercise
Before entering any trade, ask:
**"Am I entering because I see my setup, or because I want action?"**
If the answer is action, don't trade.
Trading Mantra
> My edge is not prediction.
> My edge is patience.
> I wait.
> I execute.
> I repeat.
