Many new crypto traders want to start with Futures immediately.
I understand why.
Futures looks exciting. Price moves faster. Leverage makes the market feel more powerful. A small move can create a bigger result.
But that is also why beginners need to be careful.
Leverage does not only increase potential profit. It also increases the speed of mistakes.
If you do not understand market structure, volume, volatility, position size, stop loss, and emotional control, Futures can become very expensive very quickly.
That is why I usually believe beginners should learn Spot first.
Spot trading gives you time to understand how the market actually moves.
You can watch how $BTC reacts to news.
You can see how $ETH behaves when market sentiment changes.
You can follow $BNB and understand activity inside the Binance ecosystem.
You can learn how volume confirms or rejects a move.
Most importantly, you can make mistakes without the same liquidation pressure that comes with leverage.
This does not mean Futures is bad.
Futures is simply not the first step for everyone.
Before using leverage, beginners should understand a few basic questions:
Why am I entering this trade?
What is my risk?
Where am I wrong?
Am I trading because of a plan, or because of FOMO?
Can I accept the loss if the trade does not work?
If you cannot answer these questions clearly, it may be better to stay with Spot and keep learning.
Crypto is not a race.
The goal is not to trade bigger as fast as possible.
The goal is to survive long enough to become better.
For new Binance users, a simple starting path could be:
Create your account.
Complete verification.
Build a watchlist with $BTC, $ETH, and $BNB.
Learn Spot or Convert first.
Understand volume and risk before touching leverage.
