People did not want to be watched, so they wrapped that discomfort in technical language and called it infrastructure. I dismissed it for a while because public chains seemed honest, even if a little harsh.
What changed my mind was noticing how quickly people self-censor when everything becomes permanently visible.

Most current solutions still feel unnatural. Public systems expose too much. Closed systems reduce exposure, but often bring back gatekeepers, weaker ownership, and messy trust assumptions. That is why the middle ground matters.

Who uses that? Probably serious operators, not tourists. It works if it stays usable, affordable, and legally understandable. It fails if complexity overwhelms trust or if regulation refuses to meet it halfway.
