The Dao is doing the right thing; the skill (shu) is technique.
Doing the right thing means you need to understand what this trade is for. Or else, don’t do the wrong thing.
I reviewed my trades from the past two months, and the final conclusion was:
There’s absolutely no trading system—open positions randomly, with no stop-loss. And when losses come, hold on until you’re dead.
Go long or short against the trend.
I have no idea at all what I’m supposed to do, or why I’m making this trade.
When you encounter a market opportunity, you fomo immediately—you don’t wait for the right moment.
In the end, you can only rely on luck to create surprises, and use skill to lose everything.
After trading for two years, I went from ignorance and confusion to understanding my own ignorance, and then learning to create my own trading system.
