BTC è passato da $74K a $69K questa settimana. La paura & l'avidità ha colpito 11. Le balene hanno scaricato $117M. La Fed ha schiacciato le speranze di un taglio dei tassi. Tutti erano in preda al panico.

Il mio bot stava solo facendo dei calcoli. Ecco il registro delle operazioni effettive:

Aperta nuova posizione in TLM su un ribasso dell'1,96%

Mercoledì 18.03 (il grande giorno del crollo di BTC):
Aperto di nuovo VANRY su un ribasso del 2,56%. Il bot ha visto un buon ingresso mentre tutti stavano vendendo in preda al panico

Circa un anno fa ho iniziato a costruire un piccolo progetto collaterale. Un bot per fare trading delle mie criptovalute su Binance.
L'idea era semplicissima: un algoritmo che acquista i ribassi e vende i recuperi, 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7, mentre dormo. V0.1 era letteralmente uno script Python che girava in una finestra del terminale su un server privato. Brutto ma funzionava.
Poi mi è venuta in mente un'idea: e se anche altre persone potessero usarlo?
Quella singola idea ha trasformato un progetto del weekend in un'ossessione che è durata un anno. Improvvisamente avevo bisogno di una vera app Android. Accesso multi-utente. Reale sicurezza (cifratura a conoscenza zero in modo che il server non veda mai le tue chiavi API in testo chiaro). Gestione delle posizioni che non si rompe quando 5 persone stanno facendo trading contemporaneamente. Casi limite che non avrei mai immaginato fino a quando non sono esplosi in produzione.

Lettura più bassa in mesi. Eppure BTC è fermo a $70K rifiutandosi di scendere.
Lascia che questo affondi. Il sentimento dice panico. Il prezzo dice... no.

Questo è il disallineamento che genera denaro. Quando tutti SENTONO che il mercato sta per collassare ma il prezzo non collassa effettivamente, di solito significa che il denaro intelligente sta accumulando silenziosamente mentre i dettaglianti sono troppo spaventati per toccare qualcosa.

Ho visto questo schema tre volte nell'ultimo anno. Ogni volta:

Been running an automated trading bot on Binance with my own capital since last April. Heres the stuff that no one mentions in their bot marketing material.

The numbers look great on paper.
2,300+ trades. 92.7% win rate. Sounds impressive right? And it is. But heres what the highlight reel doesnt show you:

Some trades just... sit there.
Right now I have positions that have been open for weeks. The bot bought at a level it calculated as favorable and then the market kept dropping. Algorithm says wait for recovery. So it waits. And I wait. And nothing happens for days. This is the most psychologically difficult part of automated trading - trusting the system when a position is red and every instinct tells you to cut the loss.

The boring weeks are the profitable ones.
Best returns come from sideways choppy markets. The bot loves it when BTC bounces between two levels for a week - buy the dip, sell the recovery, repeat. Worst periods are strong trends in either direction. Sudden pump means the bot sells too early. Sustained crash means positions get stuck. The market conditions everyone finds boring are exactly where automation shines.

The hardest feature I built was "do nothing."
Teaching the algorithm when NOT to trade was like ten times harder than teaching it when to trade. Early versions would force entries in bad conditions just to "be doing something." Sound familiar? Thats exactly what humans do too. Current version will sometimes go hours without opening a new position. That patience is what keeps the win rate above 90%.

Its not passive income. Its automated active trading.
Theres a difference. Passive income means you do nothing. Automated trading means a bot does the work but you still need to check in, understand what its doing, and make sure conditions havent fundamentally changed. I check my dashboard once a day. Not staring at charts anymore but not completely hands-off either.

The 2am trades are gone tho.
That alone was worth building it. No more panic selling at midnight. No more FOMO buying at 3am. The bot follows its rules whether the market moves at noon or 4am on a Sunday. My sleep quality has genuinley improved lol.

After a year of building this and almost a year of running real money through it, the biggest lesson is simple: the value of a trading bot isnt that its smarter than you. Its that its more disciplined than you. And in trading, discipline beats intelligence every time.

Ero solito fare trading manualmente. Imposterei una posizione, guarderei il grafico e aspetterei.

Allora andrei a letto. E alle 2 del mattino mi sarei svegliato, controllerei il mio telefono, vedrei un calo del 4% e venderei in preda al panico. Al mattino si era ripreso. Ogni volta.
O peggio — avrei visto una candela verde enorme a mezzanotte e avrei FOMO in una posizione al massimo. Al mattino si era ritirata. Ogni volta.

Il modello era sempre lo stesso: le operazioni che facevo quando ero stanco, emotivo o reagivo a un movimento improvviso erano costantemente le mie peggiori operazioni. Le operazioni che pianificavo con attenzione e eseguivo pazientemente erano le mie migliori.
