Guide: How to Connect Monad Testnet to Phantom Wallet (Step-by-Step).$MON
As a Web3 enthusiast and aspiring developer, I believe in building and testing before "aping." If you’re like me and prefer exploring ecosystems over chasing whale candles, here is how you set up your environment for the Monad Testnet using Phantom.
Phase 1: Enable Developer Mode
Since Monad is currently in Testnet, it won’t show up in your standard wallet list until you "unlock" it.
Open your Phantom Wallet (Mobile or Extension).
Click the Settings (Gear icon) in the top left/right corner.
Scroll down to Developer Settings.
Toggle Testnet Mode to ON.
Phase 2: Adding the Monad Network
Phantom makes this easy, but sometimes you need to add the parameters manually to ensure you're on the right chain.
Once added, your Monad address (which starts with 0x) will appear. You can now visit the official faucet to get your first test tokens.
Official Faucet: faucet.monad.xyz
Why am I doing this? I’m a 200L Comp Sci student at LASU. My goal isn't to be a "pro trader"—it's to understand the infrastructure of the next generation of the internet. By testing Monad, I’m learning how high-throughput EVMs work under the hood.
Finché ci teniamo, l'estate "Afro-DeFi" è ancora in gioco. Il 4H (Immediato): Osservando un recupero di $71,200. La divergenza rialzista si sta formando silenziosamente mentre i "mani deboli" entrano in panico. Riepilogo del mercato: Il mercato sta "Consolidando." È come una molla compressa—sta accumulando energia. La domanda è in quale direzione esplode.

"Sometimes, the biggest barrier in Web3 isn't the code—it's the hardware.
I’ve officially moved my project to a lightweight editor and manually coded the 'Afro-DeFi Hub' from scratch. No MacBook. No iOS 16. Just pure vision and raw $BTC energy. 🇳🇬🚀
