I’ve been thinking a lot about how fragmented crypto yields have become across Ethereum, Bitcoin, and even newer DePIN ecosystems. The issue isn’t just that yields exist — it’s that they’re spread across completely separate systems, each with different risks, liquidity limits, and technical complexity.

Most users either leave assets sitting idle or chase higher returns by locking liquidity for long periods. That creates a constant tradeoff between earning yield and staying flexible.

That’s why Bedrock ($BR) caught my attention. The idea of a multi-asset liquid restaking layer feels like an attempt to make yield generation more connected and usable across ecosystems. Instead of choosing between staking rewards and liquidity, the model tries to offer both at the same time.

What makes it even more interesting is that it doesn’t stop at Ethereum. Extending restaking concepts into Bitcoin and DePIN networks makes the vision much broader — but also more complex. It’s ambitious, though it naturally raises questions around how risks from different ecosystems could become interconnected beneath the surface.

Still, I think the direction itself says a lot about where Web3 is heading: toward liquidity that can continuously move, participate, and generate value instead of staying locked in isolated silos.
