BNB Chain is developing a new Layer 1 blockchain focused on agentic trading and has released its first detailed architecture information after months of research and development. According to Odaily, BNB Chain’s technical roadmap for the second half of 2026 shows the new chain will run in parallel with the existing BNB Chain ecosystem.
BNB Chain said the new network is designed to achieve transaction preconfirmation in under 50 milliseconds, aiming to provide an execution experience similar to centralized exchanges while maintaining on-chain self-custody and transparency.
On the technical side, BNB Chain said the new chain will remove the traditional public mempool and introduce a transaction transmission mechanism called “TxStream.” Under this design, transactions are sent directly to block producers to reduce latency and limit certain forms of MEV extraction, including sandwich attacks.

BNB Chain has released its technology roadmap for the second half of 2026, outlining plans to further optimize speed, throughput, and protocol stability, and to develop a next-generation Layer 1 architecture intended for the next decade. According to Odaily, the roadmap includes a plan to double BSC mainnet throughput again.
BNB Chain said that in the first half of 2026, BSC completed multiple performance upgrades, including reducing block intervals to 450 milliseconds from 750 milliseconds and lowering memory finality to 650 milliseconds from 1,125 milliseconds. It also said baseline throughput increased to about 5,200 TPS from about 2,800 TPS.
At the middleware layer, BNB Chain said it advanced AI agent and payment infrastructure efforts. This included launching BNB Agent Studio and the BNB Agent SDK to support deployment of autonomous on-chain AI agents. It also said it continued improving the Middleware Payment Protocol (MPP) SDK and explored an institutional-grade privacy framework.
For the second half of 2026, BNB Chain set three core goals. First, it aims to double throughput through BEP-675, BAL integration, and EVM execution optimizations, with a long-term target of a 10x performance increase across BNB Chain. Second, it plans to reduce the impact of network congestion by using resource isolation, dedicated transaction channels, and a transaction inclusion mechanism based on the FOCIL concept to improve stability during peak periods. Third, it plans to lower barriers to use by optimizing gas fee structures for different industries to reduce costs for enterprises entering Web2 and Web3 application scenarios.

BNB Chain announced the winning projects of its “BNB Hack: AI Trading Agents” hackathon, awarding 21 teams a total of $36,000 in prizes.
According to Foresight News, the hackathon featured two main tracks: “Autonomous Trading Agent,” with a $24,000 prize pool and five winners, and “Strategy Skills,” with a $6,000 prize pool and three winners.
In the “Autonomous Trading Agent” track, the winning projects were ClipX’s Neural Alpha, Genesis, Gridora, Guarded Alpha, and Superagente007. In the “Strategy Skills” track, the winning projects were Narrative Alpha, RotorEdge, and Undertow.
BNB Chain also listed partner awards of $2,000 each across three categories. For CoinMarketCap Agent Hub, the best applications were MetaFinancialAI, CryptoCT01, jurbanwrites, Dr4cule_Mihawk, Joepcxc, 4lpha_agent, ArtuGrande, itsabigdill, freehoodies, and 3CTZN. For Trust Wallet Agent Kit, the best application was BNB Mission Control. For BNB Agent SDK, the best applications were SOLVENT and Helm.

According to the announcement from Binance, it will launch the BNB Button Game for the MENAP community, offering a grand prize of 20 BNB token vouchers to the participant who is first to count down the game timer to 00:00 without interruption. The activity period is set for 2026-07-07 08:00 (UTC) and will run until the timer reaches 00:00 without being reset, or until 23 days after the game starts. Binance said the game will begin once total participation reaches 25,000 registered users.
Game Mechanics: Binance said each user will receive five free click attempts in total during the activity period. When a user clicks the button, the timer starts counting down from 60:00. If another user clicks before the timer reaches 00:00, the countdown resets. To win the grand prize, a user must click the button and have the timer reach 00:00 without another click resetting it. Binance added that if no one reaches 00:00 by the end of the activity period, the user or users whose countdown gets closest to 00:00 will be eligible for the prize, and ties will result in the prize being split equally.
Eligibility and Attempts: Binance said the button may be disabled unless account verification (KYC) is completed. It also outlined ways to earn additional click attempts through tasks, including daily sharing, trading-volume tasks across Binance Spot or Convert and Binance Futures, and referrals via Referral Pro. Binance said token voucher rewards will be distributed after the activity ends by 2026-09-08.

According to the announcement from Binance, the platform is set to launch a new Word of the Day (WOTD) game with the weekly theme “bStocks on Binance,” running from 2026-07-06 00:00 (UTC) to 2026-07-12 23:59 (UTC). The educational word-guessing game will allow eligible users to play up to two WOTD games per day during the activity period. Binance said users who achieve at least three correct answers during the activity period will be eligible to share a 12 BNB reward pool, distributed based on each user’s proportion of correct answers relative to the total correct answers of all eligible users, with a maximum reward cap of 0.01 BNB per user.
Rewards and Eligibility Details: Binance said an additional 3 BNB reward pool will be available to users who both achieve at least three correct answers and participate in the WOTD game on five or more separate days during the activity period; this pool will be distributed equally among eligible users who meet those requirements. Distribution Timeline: Binance said all rewards will be distributed by 2026-07-26 23:59 (UTC) directly to users’ Rewards Hub, and eligible users should claim vouchers before their expiration date, with no replacement reward provided. Second Game Access and New User Offer: Binance also described a method to enable a second daily WOTD game after completing the first game by using a “Get A New WOTD” option and sharing a featured link on social media, with access unlocked once the shared link is clicked by a logged-in user. Separately, Binance said new users who register during the activity period using the “WOTD” referral code will receive 10% off Spot trading fees, and may qualify for additional welcome rewards by completing tasks in the Rewards Hub within 14 days after registration.
