I've been thinking about something that doesn't get discussed enough in crypto.

Everyone celebrates faster transactions, but I don't think transaction speed is the biggest friction anymore.

I think authorization is.

When I use a protocol, I'm rarely worried about waiting a few extra seconds for a transaction to settle. What makes me pause is deciding whether I should approve an action in the first place. That's where trust is built—or lost.

That's why Newton Protocol stands out to me.

I'm not looking at it as another protocol trying to squeeze out a few milliseconds of execution speed. I'm looking at whether it can make authorization smarter without making it less secure.

To me, that's a much bigger opportunity.
